Water Protector: Jaike Spotted Wolf

Jaike Spotted Wolf reflects on their experience as an indigenous organizer in Seattle and Minnesota, she shares about their experiences with indigenous erasure within radical movement spaces and the success of helping to cultivate a BIPOC centered decolonial space at Camp Migizi. Along with offering insights into the intention and creation of Camp Migizi, Jaike puts forward a vision for the future of camp and other decolonial projects. Finally, Jaike shares a powerful discussion of the boarding school systems that systematically targeted Native Americans for cultural erasure and genocide and calls for allies to take action in educating themselves and helping Native Americans find justice for their stolen children.
